Kosjeric is a small town in Western Serbia, close to the border with Bosnia-Hercegovina. Their small health center serves a population of about 10,000, which includes the villages in the surrounding hills.
This years, because of the conditions associated with the Covid-19 pandemics, their ability to serves patients was placed under significant constrains. During our visit to the health center in October we saw that they were no longer able to deliver oxygen to patient because all the adapters had broken. This was particularly dangerous and a life threatening situation. Thankfully we were able to very rapidly find the broken parts and replace the old one.
